It is not an important historical event that affected the modern history of Egypt only, but rather it is more like a story that, once told, is enjoyed by the young before the old. Photography had an interesting beginning since 1826, at the hands of the French “Nicephore Niepce”, and he continued his attempts to invent the photographic camera until 1833, when he died suddenly without completing what he had begun, so “Louis Daguerre” (1787-1851) completed this “great” project. Desiring to reach a real result that would enable him to achieve a great achievement, which is what actually happened on January 7, 1839, when the French scientist “Francois Arago” announced at the Academy of Sciences in Paris about this invention, and soon King Louis-Philippe issued his orders. The necessity of practical implementation of this invention, so the camera manufactured was called the “daguerreotype machine”, and the imaging method itself was called the “daguerreotype method or the daguerreotype” after Daguerre, the inventor of the machine, and that was in August of the same year.
