I want the reader to understand my ideology and more importantly what I am NOT! Let me begin by saying that I view the worker and the middle class as the engine of all economies worldwide but especially in America. However, I am not a believer in Marx or Communism as an economic model. Marx was fabulous in his predications of the future world as it pertains to workers vs the ownership elite but had little to offer as to solutions. Having lived in Russia in 1991,1992,1993 and in virtually every other former communist state of eastern Europe, I understand firsthand the failures of the state capitalist model. As to socialism, I do not define an economic model in this way but rather those nations that have successfully implemented a social compact with their citizens that is paid for by utilizing national systems, I support but not as a political system at all. Rather in my vision, socialism is in fact a method by which a society has decided to pay for universal benefits shared by everyone and paid by taxation. Most of these nations have large entrepreneurial societies that are very market oriented. Thus the term socialism in no way means that the market is not present as is portrayed often the political elements in America. Thus when reading the context of my book, please do not bring predetermined ideas as to who or what I am in political definitions. I strongly believe in organized and regulated markets that are competitive non monopoly oriented with a large entrepreneurial class. To this end I provide rich evidence that the elite corpo-capitalist forces are seeking to destroy the fabric of our society based upon entrepreneurs in favor of monopolies and control.
