Description

This book primarily aimed to assist students taking a course in Business Management at Senior High Schools (SHS) and Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) in Universities was developed to assist students at these levels to acquire basic knowledge in the fields of Business and Management. One of the authors who is a supervisor and an examiner of the West Africa Examination Council for the Business Management course at the Senior High School Level as well as the President of the Ghana Association of Business Education has identified the numerous mistakes students commit when answering questions in this subject and based on that has provided enough information to assist the authors in the writing of the book. The authors again has over the years identified the numerous essay type questions set by the West Africa Examination Council in this subject and has provided information in this book to assist students to test their level of knowledge and preparedness to take examination in this subject at the end of their programme at the Senior High School. Since Business Management and Principles of Management are subjects/courses done at the Colleges of Education and Technical Universities particularly by non-tertiary students, this book also took into consideration the content of these courses done at these institutions to make it relevant for non-tertiary students at technical universities and colleges of education to benefit from this book. What is unique about this book is the over five hundred objective questions that covers all the chapters of the book to test the knowledge and understanding of students who use this book as a source of reference material for the business management course.
