Description

Increase in technology has led to tremendous change in the means of conducting businesses all over the globe, altering the traditional medium of carrying out commercial activities and bringing about the new medium called electronic commerce. This came along with new legal challenges which traditional legal rules cannot easily deal with and as such parties to electronic commerce transactions find it very difficult to do business without being caught in the mist of disputes. This hand book examines whether Cameroonian law makes adequate provisions for the mechanisms on the settlement of disputes related to electronic commerce transactions and concludes that the current law has proven insufficient in this domain. There is therefore the need to revisit the current legislations and uphold practices akin to such technological developments.
