This study examines the role of reflective practice (RP) in Morocco’s nursing education, focusing on 23 Higher Institutes of Nursing and Health Technologies (ISPITS) and involving 235 educators and 400 students. Although RP is key to connecting theory with practice and fostering critical thinking, it remains underutilized in nursing education. Using a mixed-methods approach with surveys and interviews, the study finds a consensus on RP’s positive impact, enhancing academic performance, professional growth, and patient care. Both educators and students see RP as crucial for developing evaluative skills, though challenges persist, particularly due to limited support for reflective learning in the educational environment. Statistical analyses highlight RP’s significant contribution to educators’ professional development and students’ learning outcomes. This research underscores RP’s value in nursing education, suggesting opportunities for future applications and improvements to strengthen the quality and impact of professional training.
