This book, provides reading materials for lecturers, students and policy makers on Special Needs and Inclusive Education. Over the past fourteen years, author has taught courses in Special Needs/Inclusive Education at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His students have always found books on disability in Sierra Leone inadequate as compared to the volume of information his course design require of them. It entails research work done on the education of children with disabilities. Sections of the book have been used as lecture notes for undergraduate and graduate classes. It is hoped that this book will not only give information but will also provide a rigorous investigation on the challenges that children with disabilities face in Sierra Leone. One of the main objectives of the book is to make the readers knowledgeable regarding this cohort of children and also be able to discuss disability issues in the country.
