“Go Green” is screamed everyday these years, particularly whence the first Zero Carbon Building with priority on energy demand control was erected in 2012 in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. Go green pledge is predominantly on the building industry as it has accounted for more than one-third of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and use of more than half of the world’s energy as reported in the 2020 Global Status Report for Buildings and Construction (Global alliance for buildings and construction, 2020). Escalating the Green Management Practice (GMP) is the way forward to transform the existing and future building development into green structures, combating this huge adverse impact on the climate.
Methods of the study
This research targets to give insight of how the GMP can have any effects on the Organizational Performance Success (OPS) via a questionnaire survey follows by post-survey interviews, case studies and consultations with those green experts so as to encourage the advancement of GMP in the building industry to encounter the global warming and the greenhouse gas emissions.
Results of the study
The survey established that GMP has a significant impact on the building firms’ OPS.
