Nanocarbon

Description

The present book is devoted to one of new scientific directions, the development of which proceeds before our eyes and is accompanied by a lot of new discoveries. The author is more than 30 years involved into the issues related to the production, investigation and applied usage of nanocarbon structures. He was a witness and sometimes an active participant of the events resulting in a wide spread of such structures in scientific and technology fields. This experience is reflected particularly in the set of the articles published in “Physics-Uspekhi” (see below). Some of these articles were written following the invitation of the Editor in Chief of this journal acad. V. Ginzburg. The author hopes that the experience accumulated by him in the field of nanocarbon science will be fascinating and helpful for not only experts having the physical education but also many readers attracted by new knowledge in various scientific fields.
