USING PODCASTS AND INTERNET DRAMA SCRIPTS TO IMPROVE SPEAKING ABILITIES

Description

People who learn a language are able to converse more effectively with other language users. In every domain, they trade data. Still, many EFL students struggled to communicate their ideas to others. Students’ speaking skills were enhanced by using podcast content and online theater scripts to address this. The teacher used the podcasts to enhance her students’ grammar and vocabulary courses in addition to their listening, repeating, shadowing, and retelling skills. This method improves the vocabulary, pronunciation, voice, and speaking skills of the students. Students conducted role plays and applied what they had learnt to try having conversations using online theatrical scripts. The students successfully completed the voice, comprehension, and pronunciation tasks using their electronic dictionaries to aid in their script learning.
