This book introduces basic issues in linguistics morphology. The exemplified data are written in such a way that readers get to adjoin and understand morphological phenomena in the text. The book presents five parts, part one presents basic terminologies in linguistics Morphology. The second part deals with elasticity in the lexicon as in affixations and non affixation phenomena. The third part deals with phonology-morphology interaction, the section manifests lexical morphology and phonology model which their central issue is in strata ordering in the lexicon. The fourth part deals verb extensions and the number of arguments being triggered by the extended verbal morphs. Part five of this text consists of prosodic morphology with emphasis on non concatinative Theory in Arabic and Bantu languages’ manifestations emphasizing on the envisioning of word formation that cannot be handled by linear theoretical modal as in Item- and Arrangement theory.
