Description

The monograph presents a strategic and developmental view of private protection in modern societies and in the Republic of Slovenia, with an emphasis on private security. Private protection includes private security, detective services, security consultancy services and civilian self-protection. Moreover, the strategic and development perspective also covers the policies, measures and mechanisms that ensure private protection in modern societies. The aim of the monograph is also to draw attention in a strategic way and from a development perspective to the complexity and importance of private protection in ensuring internal security in modern societies, and to point the way forward for the development of private protection using the example of the Republic of Slovenia. The scientific monograph is intended for security managers and others working in the field of non-state protection, as well as for those who are educated in this field at various levels of education and training. The monograph is also intended for all others who, in their work, come into contact in one way or another with private protection or with the provision of additional protection not provided by the State.
