DEVELOPMENT, PREPARATION AND USE OF HIGH-PROTEIN FEED FOR YOUNG ANIMALS CATTLE

Description

The monograph is intended for employees of agricultural enterprises specializing in feed production and animal husbandry on the preparation of bulky (juicy and coarse) feeds for ruminants. The organization of biologically complete and balanced feeding is unthinkable without the successful organization of meadow and field forage production, timely harvesting and preparation of canned food in optimal time using advanced technologies.

For the successful implementation of the tasks set, various types of chemical and biological preparations were used for preserving annual and perennial herbs (as well as their mixtures), depending on the growing season, type and condition of raw materials, reducing nutrient losses, eliminating butyric acid fermentation, protein breakdown, increasing the digestibility of dry matter and its productive effect, and they are also environmentally friendly. The harvested feed has been tested on boulders and on young cattle.
