Description

In this study, we found that the sympathovagal balance of patient cohort was deranged with a significantly reduced parasympathetic and sympathetic activity. Moreover, significant anxiety levels were found in the patient cohort. Based on these findings we suggest that there should be a screening, at the time of diagnosis of TIDM and regular follow ups later on to detect and diagnose early derangements in the functioning of the ANS for proper management of disease and prevention of morbidity.
