Foreign Direct Investment Inflows and Oil Exports in Nigeria

An attempt has been made in this study to account for the impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Inflows and oil Exports in Nigeria. The study set out to establish among others the trend of FDI inflows and oil exports, performance of firms, and regulation in Nigeria. To achieve these stated objectives, the study follows this pattern: in the introduction, the necessary background is laid out, and the problems are identified and justified accordingly. a critical review of the selected and relevant literature was done with a view to identifying the research gap in the existing knowledge. In the same vein, the theory of multinationals, new trade theory, and traditional neoclassical growth theory was explained. Methodical models and techniques of analysis that are more appropriate for achieving the objectives of the study.
