This research focuses on cultivating innovative STEM talent in China through a dual-track integration model combining online and offline education. The study begins by establishing the rationale for this approach, positing STEM education as a core pathway for nurturing innovators and highlighting the conducive conditions created by blended online-offline instruction.
Through an analysis of representative domestic and international cases, the study synthesizes successful experiences and identifies existing shortcomings. Building on this foundation, an initial conceptual model is constructed and empirically validated, proposing that innovative ability, innovative personality, and innovative thinking are the key attributes of STEM innovators.
Subsequently, the study conceptualizes the cultivation model as an ecosystem, developing an implementation framework and analyzing its operational mechanisms. This framework comprises a six-step process: clarifying learning objectives, diagnosing learning needs, designing learning resources, facilitating student-to-student interactive learning, assessing learning outcomes, and conducting teaching and learning reflections.
