This study explored the impact of using WhatsApp as a blended learning tool on the academic performance of physics students in Nigeria. The findings showed that students who used blended learning tools performed significantly better than those in traditional classrooms. Although male students and urban students performed slightly better than their female and rural counterparts, the differences were not statistically significant. The study concludes that blended learning is an effective teaching strategy that motivates students, enhances performance, and accommodates different learning styles. It recommends that physics teachers adopt blended learning tools, be gender-sensitive, and that the government provide equal opportunities for urban and rural schools.
