The Functions in Non-Standard Problems

Description

The monograph deals with methods of solving non-standard problems containing different types of functions, or such non-standard problems, in the solution of which properties of different types of functions are used, or functions are restored using some of theirproperties, etc. Peculiarities of learning to solve non-standard problems containing functions are methodically developed. Emphasis is shifted to different methodical approaches to teaching ways of solving such non-standard problems.
The non-standard problems are formulated in such a way that for their solution, knowledge of school mathematics is enough, which is why the presented material can be understood even by high school students.
The monograph is intended for specialists, it will help school mathematics teachers, university mathematics students, mathematics-orientedschool subject clubs, and persons interested in in-depth study of mathematics. The majority of discussed problems are taken from the topics of various international and republican mathematical Olympiads of pupils and students.
