Description
This book is the result of years of dedicated research by two authors (father and son), covering most of the famous unsolved problems in mathematics, such as the Twin Prime Conjecture, the Goldbach Conjecture, and others. Solving these problems is not merely about proving individual conjectures; more importantly, it: 1) proposes new ideas and perspectives; 2) provides new tools and methods; 3) broadens the scope and range of research.
In addition to solving a series of difficult problems, this book also expands the scope of many issues: 1) For example, regarding the Collatz Conjecture, it first attributes it to the general formula (2^n – 1)x + 1, then points out that 7x + 1, 15x + 1… also have the same unification property, and extends x to the range of negative integers, modifying the general formula to (2^n – 1)x – 1, indicating that such problems can be attributed to negative one; 2) It provides a unified reductio ad absurdum solution for conjectures about the infinitude of various types of primes, avoiding the tedious and lengthy process of proving each one individually.
