This book presents an original research on antimicrobial analysis of leaves of Azadiracha indica (Dogoyaro) and Ocimum gratissimum (Efinrin) on molecularly-typed pathogenic organisms from a farm settlement in Sabe community of Oke-Ogun. The pathogens was isolated from the Rhizosphere of the two plants. In this community, the use of hers to ameliorate ailments has been a typical of their campaign, however, this book reported that contrary to wide reported efficacy of these herbal plants to some infectious agents elsewhere. The current study showed total resistance to all antibiotics tested on. The study suspected horizontal gene transfer of resistance genes from the plants. The most intriguing part of the book was an attempt to probably delve into the molecular analysis to understanding the mechanism of antibiotics resistance. I recommend this book to all and sundry to serve as basic investigative apparatus to explaining the principle that renders hard won battles of treatment over the years as a mirage.
