The Living, Loving Sovereign God of the Bible, who designed, created, and brought us into being, is our Father. He is the only true God, and created man for fellowship. Christians believe that Jesus Christ is God, and like Christ Himself, are here on earth to do the Father’s business, and that business is to save man from death and spending eternity separated from God. By the provision of the gift of salvation, everyone and anyone, can secure this gift, if they call upon the name of the Lord, with all their heart. God has provided a means of reconciliation to Him via the death of Jesus Christ on a cross in Jerusalem, two thousand years ago, to set man from the slave market of Sin. You can be set free, but only if you believe and trust that Jesus died for you. The most significant figure in Mankind’s six-thousand-year history is Jesus Christ, and central to that faith, is the cross. God is angry, in fact, furious that mankind rejected His Son, who lived among us as a man, the perfect man, because, we chose to murder Him, instead of revere Him. Jesus has gone to prepare a place for those who love and trust Him, and He is coming again, so that they can spend eternity with Him
