OHM’S LAW AS A TOOL FOR QUALITY CONTROL

Description

This work is motivated by the need to be guided in the choice of battery brand and how manufacturers of batteries can use Ohm’s Law as a tool to improve the quality of battery produced. Herein, are the basic concepts and methods that are necessary for estimating the reliability or survival function of dry cell batteries.
The body of the test is split into chapters one through five which discuss Understanding dry cell battery make-up, Nominal voltage, Composition, Classes, Capacity, Separator, Casing, Model development from the graphical method, Model development from Least Square linear regression method in calculations of Failure rate and Mean-time-to-failure respectively.
