MATERNAL ALCOHOL INTAKE, THIAMINE (VITAMINE B1) DEFICIENCY AND CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT

Description

I have been Director of the Neuroscience Laboratory at the Biosciences UFR of the Félix Houphouët-Boigny University from 2006 to 2019. My function consisted in managing the teaching activities and coordinating the activities of different research units. Our teaching is formatted according to the LMD system and we train students in Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and to PHD level. Our job was to find research projects for the students and internship places for the production of their Master’s or Doctoral thesis. At this level I was in charge of the administrative management and planning of the Master’s thesis and PhD thesis defenses. I was also responsible for both the Neuroscience Master’s and Physiology Bachelor’s degrees from 2013 to 2019. Our work consisted of enrolling students, allocating them to different laboratories for supervised projects, organizing semester schedules and examinations, conducting level deliberations and writing examination reports, and issuing transcripts and certificates.
