Terrorism has existed and presented itself in various shapes and types throughout history. Since the beginning of this century, technology has become an integral component of our world and it is transforming the way people think, communicate, and manage their everyday lives. In this context, terrorist groups have undergone a transformation and aim to overcome barriers and challenges by developing new “modus operandi”, approaches and frameworks. In this book, an attempt will be made to a comprehensive study the classical Terrorism and the Terrorist Threat in Cyber-Space as a New Trend. In the five chapters of this book, a comprehensive effort is being made to analyze the following subjects and to answer reasonable questions related to them:

– Highlight the main characteristics of terrorism, and analyze the problems associated with producing a satisfactory definition of terrorism;
– Examine and evaluate the rise and development of a terrorist group;
– What conditions are necessary for a terrorist group to survive?
