This book intends to create knowledge and awareness on the importance of Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) as a catalyst to economic empowerment. This work explained with literature, theoretical frameworks, and practical fieldwork submissions – the processes of equipping youth with TVET skills, thus empowering them to become economically self-reliant. Furthermore, this book opines that while TVET is a pathway to empowerment; empowerment on the other hand – promotes national development and economic growth. However, to achieve national development and economic growth, there is a need to continuously create knowledge and awareness on the importance of TVET, hence, this author hopes that academicians and policymakers draw understanding from the empirical academic knowledge, contained in this book, “Technical Training: A pathway to youth empowerment.”
