Description

The iB-function is a new mathematical function which is very revolutionary in terms of its properties. It is characterized by its index pair and its parameters which are most often masked and therefore the number depends on the dimension of the space or the number of independent variables. It embodies in itself several other functions like exponential, hyperbolic and trigonometric functions. These functions, since they also vary according to their indices, are very effective in solving many physical and mathematical problems. They are also discovered during the construction of solitary wave solutions of certain differential equations with nonlinear and dispersive partial derivatives. In this book, we develop the properties of the iB-function while using them to solve concrete problems in mathematics and physics. Its secondary trigonometric form is defined. The properties associated with this secondary form are established. The selected application exercises are treated in a simplified way to facilitate understanding.
