Educational Leadership is a dynamic form of leadership that aims to provide guidance and support for student development. Students are the crown jewel of any institution and so the provision of sound leadership and institutional practices helps to foster a conducive learning environment and practice. This textbook contains five chapters on case studies and discussions in educational leadership. It examines factual case studies and discussions about tertiary institutions within the Caribbean as seen through the lens of educators, educational leaders and students. The text consists of stimulating case studies which examine topical issues such as leading and managing people within the Caribbean educational context, the functions of the educational institutions, legal issues within the Caribbean educational context, financial issues, trends and challenges within the Caribbean, the issues of diversity and inclusion, perspectives of teaching and learning, organizational planning including strategic planning and disaster risk management, disaster preparedness plans, human resource action plans, and professional development plans.
