Corporate Governance in Public Enterprises in Kosovo- the difference between Central and Local Public Enterprises

In this book, the author has tried to present the divergences between Corporate Governance, with emphasis on Public Enterprises at the local and central levels, in the Republic of Kosovo. It is a topic that has been treated very little and there is no extended publication on this issue of great interest to researchers and the public. The author has treated the 3 main theories of Corporate Governance at the global level, such as the agency theory, the administration theory and the interest group theory, and through the deductive method, has made connections with the system that is applied in Kosovo. During the review of the literature, he has also analyzed the models that are applied in the world such as the Anglo-American, Japanese and German (or European), which differ among themselves in terms of the level of Boards and the Organizational Chart of Governance and Ownership. During the drafting of this paper, the main emphasis was placed on the main principles of the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), as the most credible institution for the suggestions it gives regarding Corporate Governance.
